Privacy Policy
Information and purposes
We collect information you provide when requesting a guide, purchasing, signing in, or contacting support, such as your email, name when provided, order information, and messages. Our website and providers process technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, page activity, cookies, and similar identifiers needed to operate and secure pages, checkout, and accounts. Payment providers process the payment and billing information required by your selected payment method. Do not email full card numbers or sensitive client/customer lists.
We use information to deliver requested guides, process orders, maintain buyer access, send necessary access and transaction messages, answer support requests, prevent fraud, keep business records, and understand basic website performance. If you separately subscribe to promotional email, you can unsubscribe through the email link. A PDF request or purchase does not authorize SMS marketing to your phone.
Providers, cookies, and disclosures
Systeme.io hosts pages, manages contacts/email and order records, and provides the buyer library. Stripe and selected payment options process payments under their own privacy notices. Our business email provider processes support correspondence. We may disclose information when necessary to comply with law, protect rights/security, or complete a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards. We do not sell personal information or add third-party advertising pixels to this funnel.
Cookies and similar technologies support account sessions, checkout, security, and platform operation. Browser controls let you manage cookies, but blocking required cookies may prevent login or payment. We do not currently add Meta or Google advertising pixels. If practices change, we will update this notice and provide choices or obtain consent where required.
Retention, security, and your choices
We retain information as reasonably needed for delivery, account support, required financial records, disputes, and security. Retention depends on record type and legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service is completely secure. Providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate, subject to applicable data-protection requirements.
Email us to request access, correction, deletion, or other rights available under applicable law. We may verify identity and retain information where legal obligations require it. Depending on location, rights may include restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, and a complaint to a privacy regulator. Where applicable, processing is based on providing the requested service, legal obligations, legitimate operational/security interests, or consent. Withdrawing optional marketing consent does not cancel a purchase or prevent necessary order messages.
This service is intended for adults learning or operating a business. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child supplied information. Changes will carry a revised date and additional notice when required.
Terms of Use and Purchase
What you buy
The Local SMS Operator Starter Kit is a $47 one-time purchase of the 47-page Complete Edition and included 15-page Restaurant Playbook. The 22-page SMS QR Growth Kit is an optional $27 one-time add-on, included only when selected and purchased. Checkout displays applicable discounts, taxes, and the final total before submission. These are digital guides, not physical books, software subscriptions, implementation services, or ongoing consulting.
After an accepted order, access is provided through the buyer library using your checkout email. Internet access and a PDF reader are required. Contact us if delivery fails. Keep a downloaded copy; we do not promise perpetual hosted access or every future edition. This does not excuse delivery of the purchased edition or remove legal remedies.
License and responsible use
The original purchaser receives a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to read the guides and apply their methods in their own client-service business, with reasonable personal backup copies. Do not resell, redistribute, publicly upload, sublicense, rebrand, or share the guides or login. Specific additional permission expressly granted inside a guide applies only to that material. Content ownership remains with the rights holders.
The guides are educational and do not guarantee clients, income, carrier/platform approval, compliance, message delivery, or business results. They are not legal, tax, or other professional advice. You remain responsible for consent records, client approvals, laws, and platform/carrier rules. Project Broadcast, QRCodeChimp, registration, messaging credits, telecom costs, and other services are separate and subject to their providers. Third-party names do not imply endorsement or affiliation; their requirements and interfaces may change.
Use accurate order information, safeguard your login, and report unauthorized access. Do not infringe rights, abuse systems, or bypass access restrictions. We may restrict access for a material violation or security threat, subject to applicable law and required notice/remedies. Nothing authorizes unlawful texting.
Purchase terms and rights
The Refund Policy below forms part of these terms. Mandatory consumer and payment-dispute rights remain unaffected. Applicable law controls if a provision is unenforceable. The terms presented when you buy govern that purchase; later changes will not retroactively reduce purchased rights. Contact us with order questions so we can try to resolve them.
Digital Product Refund Policy
Digital download sales are final once access or download delivery has been provided, except as described below or required by applicable law.
The Starter Kit, Restaurant Playbook bonus, and optional QR Growth Kit are digital products that cannot meaningfully be returned after delivery. We do not offer change-of-mind refunds after delivery because you changed plans, have not used the material, or did not achieve a business result. Review the description and ask questions before buying. This is not a satisfaction or income guarantee.
Problems we will address
Duplicate charges: we investigate and refund confirmed duplicate payments for the same intended purchase.
Failed delivery or inaccessible/corrupt files: we help restore access or provide a usable copy. If we cannot provide the purchased product, we refund the affected purchase.
Materially incorrect or defective product: we investigate and provide the correction, replacement, refund, or other remedy appropriate under applicable law.
Mandatory rights: this policy does not limit statutory cancellation, withdrawal, conformity, refund, or payment-dispute rights.
Email jake@automatewithjake.com with your checkout email, order reference if available, and a description of the problem. Do not send full card details. Please report issues promptly; this does not shorten legal deadlines. Approved refunds return through the original payment method where possible; provider processing times vary. After a refund, stop using and delete the refunded materials unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Statutory withdrawal rights
Some locations grant withdrawal rights for online purchases. Digital delivery alone does not necessarily remove those rights. We honor applicable rights unless all legal requirements for an exception have been met, including any required separate express consent, acknowledgment, and confirmation. This policy itself is not that separate consent.
